Jeb Barry and the Pawn Shop Saints

Jeb is an Americana songwriter/performer with two recent cds…2014’s “Bury Me In A Lonely Place” featuring the song “Body In The River” and 2015’s “Milltown”. Both have received airplay and positive reviews, especially “Milltown”, which made some end of year polls, especially in Europe where it continues to reap accolades.

Jeb has had several songs off his last two releases picked up by Washington Street Publishing in Nashville for sync rights and pitches.
He has performed at Nashville venues such as the Bluebird Cafe and Commodore Grill over the past few years. He has also appeared at several festivals, including the local Freshgrass Bluegrass and Roots Festival the past two years. He has also appeared locally at Club Passim in Cambridge, Massachusetts and Club Helsinki in New York.

Jeb’s is usually backed up by his band, The Pawn Shop Saints, featuring Mike O’Neill on guitar/mandolin, Jesse Taylor Cole on banjo, and Heather Austin on vocals. .

Jeb first gained major label (Gary Gersh/Cindi Peters at DGC) attention in the last 1980’s and early 1990’s in the power pop group The Typicals.

What BOOM Does.

BOOM is dedicated to increasing the viability and visibility of original music in the Berkshires of Western Massachusetts. We are a non-profit company, part of Columbia Arts Team.

Our mission is to highlight, showcase, and cultivate the original music scene in Berkshire County and environs. This includes promoting local venues that feature local original music; providing access to information about the music business, songwriting, and other important subjects of interest to area musicians; and coordinating resources within the region, including local media, in order to promote local original music and encourage the patronage and support of the community at large.
